About Me
Hello my friends on the internet! I am a full-stack web developer with a passion
for developing telemedicine applications. I started my journey in web development
like most people, with my very first "Hello World" program! Well, technically yes, but
my story starts a little bit before that. In the summer of 2016, I decided to try out a
hackathon that was being held with the belief that I would be making simple C code that
would be run locally from the terminal.
To my surprise, there was way more to development than I had initially given credit for.
Since then I've been attending hackathons and entrepreneurship competitions regularly,
each further developing my understanding of problems and further motivating me to shift
my educational focus to a field that would tackle real-world problems. I've completed my
degree in Biomedical Engineering at the UWI and now I’m bringing my creative drive for
solving problems with out-of-the-box solutions to the world, one project at a time!

An appointment booking app that allows patients to make doctor appointments
create profiles and even get emails when their appointment has been accepted
by a doctor! Of course that means doctors can approve or deny these appointments.
Appointments are marked as complete when the day for them has passed.

This is a website developed in conjunction with a partner for a Human Resource company aiming to improve their
digital footprint. The landing page is created in Next.js and uses the MUI5 component library.
The website also features a contact form that sends an email to the company when a user submits and SEO optimization.

Disclaimer: This was developed at my company by a team of developers, I played the role of lead developer.
This is an application portal developed for Miami's biggest hackathon, allowing hackers to apply to and be apart of sponsor's houses.
The application portal saw over 2000 applicants and over 10 sponsors in it's last launch Jan 2022.
